General Information
Antigoni Avramouli is doing her post-doc in the Department of Informatics at the Ionian University. She earned a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Democritus University of Trace, Greece. She has completed an interdisciplinary Master’s of Clinical Applications of Molecular Medicine in University of Thessaly, postgraduate study program of the School of Medicine.
Research Interests
Her research is mainly focused in Neuroinflammation and Neurodegeneration, Neurodegenerative diseases, Oxidative stress, DNA &RNA damage, Molecular pathways, Immunology, Bioinformatics, Genomic Data Science, System Biology.

Georgios N. Dimitrakopoulos
General Information
Georgios N. Dimitrakopoulos received his Diploma in 2010 from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece. He completed his PhD at the same Department in 2018, while he worked in part as Research Assistant at SINAPSE Institute, National University of Singapore. As Post-Doctoral researcher, he worked at Department of Medicine, University of Patras (2018-2019), Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences of the Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas (ICE-HT/FORTH) (2019-2021) and Department of Informatics, Ionian University (2021-today).
Research Interests
His research interests include Machine Learning, Graph Theory, Bioinformatics, and Computational Neuroscience.

Eleftheria Polyxronidou
General Information
Eleftheria Polyxronidou is a member of the Computational Biology & Medicine Group of the Biomedical Research Foundation (Academy of Athens) and a research associate in the Informatics and Telematics Institute (ITI). She received her Diploma in Production Engineering and Management from the School of Engineering of Democritus University of Thrace and her MSc in Energy Technologies and Sustainable Design from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of University of Cyprus.
Research Interests
Her research interest focus on Molecular Dynamics, Homology Modelling, NGS and Multiple Sequence Alignments, and Biological databases.
