Mathematician, Coordinator for People with Mental Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses
General Information
Elsa Karageorgou is a Ph.D student in the Department of Economics and Sustainable Development at Harokopio University. She received her Diploma in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) and her master degree in Educational Psychology and Educational Practice from the Department of Economics and Sustainable Development at Harokopio University. Her second master degree is in History and Didactics of Mathematics from the Hellenic Open University.
Research Interests
Her research interests mainly concern Project-based management focused in adult education and innovative methods concerning mental and physical disabilities.
Expertise
Through her professional experience as a Secretary Generals’ Advisor in consulting and EU research programs focusing on Adult Education, she is highly expertised in EU and self-funding programs. She currently works in Harokopio University, while she has been collaborating with public authorities and policy makers. She is a founding member of “Hellenic Scientific Institute: Economics of Education & Life Long Learning, of Research & Innovation” and serves as a Coordinator for Mental Disabilities, and Chronic Illnesses in the Secretariat for People with Disabilities.
