🌟 Successful Completion of the "Genome in Space and Time" Conference at Ionian University!
Titled "The Genome in Space and Time," this event was conducted under the umbrella of the European COST Action International Nucleome Consortium, co-organized by the Institute of Biomedical Research of the Foundation for Research and Technology (IBE/FORTH) and the Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology Lab Ionian University - BiHeLab, Τμήμα Πληροφορικής - Ιόνιο Πανεπιστήμιο.
During this conference, we had the privilege of hosting 22 distinguished keynote speakers and over 60 scientists and researchers from leading European universities and research centers. Among them were renowned experts like Professor Marianne Rots (University of Groningen, Netherlands), Professor Vladimir Teif (University of Essex, United Kingdom), Professor Wim Vanden Berghe (University of Antwerp, Belgium), Dr. Sara Buonomo (University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom), Professor Daniel Jost (University of Lyon, France), Professor Argyris Papantonis (University of Göttingen, Germany), Professor Thomas Cremer (University of Munich, Germany), and Professor Kerstin Bystricky (University of Toulouse, France). These distinguished speakers presented the latest scientific findings in the fields of comparative genomics, epigenetics, and computational biology.
