8–11 October, 2020

On behalf of the Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology Laboratory (BiHELab), Department of Informatics, Ionian University, Greece, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 4th World Congress on “Genetics, Geriatrics and Neurodegenerative Diseases Research” (GeNeDis 2020). The congress will be held in Herakleion, Crete, Greece, from 8 to 11 of October 2020providing unparalleled access for people from our continent to meet with their international peers, co-organized by the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH), Crete, the Research Center on Computational Biomarkers (RCCBm), Bern, Switzerland and the Computer and Algebra Reasearch Group (CARGO lab) at Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada. The overarching theme will be: “Health Aging and Mental Wellness in the new digital era”, a timely subject as we witness revolutionary development in scientific research of drug targets, of novel biomarkers, of the new imaging techniques, of the novel protocols for early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases, and of several other scientific advances within the frame of personalized medicine. Over the four days of the Congress, we will have an academic program that includes plenary lectures, parallel symposia and workshops covering modern scientific topics of interest. More than a conference, the GeNeDis 2020 will be an experience, a celebration of the best of genetics, geriatrics and neurodegenerative disease research. As you might expect when visiting Crete, Greece, this spirit of celebration will extend to a vibrant social program.

We look forward to meeting you in Herakleion, Crete in 2020
