Summer School “Neuroscience in Mathematical Education”

The Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology (BiHeLab) of the Ionian University and the Department of Primary Education of Aegean University organized a summer school entitled: “Neuroscience in Mathematical Education” in June 30 to July 04 2016, in Rodes .

The Summer School in Neuroeducation was a unique opportunity for students and young professionals to engage with leading experts in a dynamic interdisciplinary environment. During the summer school students were introduced in the fields of applying neuroscience in education. For 5 days participants had an understanding of how neuroscience and education can come along for the best interest not only of the students’ community in general, but also of the students in need of special approach in education. Focus was both on the theoretical approach and lectures, as well as on experiential seminar. The included topics of the summer school were physiology of stress, learning theories, special education, neuroscience, bioinformatics etc. , this will be the right opportunity to join this summer school. Also, participants had the chance of being a part of a group, which will create its’ own project related to modeling a diadrastic tool for educational use.
